Operations Specialist

PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF POSITION
Provide support to the Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager by maintaining the flow of applicants in the office. This includes screening, setting appointments, orientation and testing. Perform administrative duties to support the operational effectiveness of the office.

PRINCIPAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Assemble application packets.
Screen and set appointments for applicant inquiries.
Greet each new applicant, explain the application process and provide the orientation for prospective employee.
Conduct testing of applicants and record results in Bullhorn, if completed in the office.
Conduct employment verification/reference checks for applicants and note responses in Bullhorn. Explain the online Prove It system to candidates and administer on-line testing.
Input employee applications into Adapt and process maintenance to be sent to the Corporate Office.
File completed applications and resumes.
File office reports.
File background/credit/drug results in compliance with EEOC.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES -Performed in Conjunction with the Operations Manager
Implement the Employees Really Count Program.
Mail out employee birthday cards.
Maintain supply room. Ensure all forms are current, neatly arranged, organized and quantities are sufficient.
Perform other related duties as deemed necessary by the Operations Manager or Branch Manager.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
