Perform Configuration Management (CM) planning and management activities. Prepare proposal responses. Develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs). Perform cost account management. Staff programs. Write CM plans. Ensure the application of CM processes to programs. Ensure proper program application of Product Data Management and Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Host Configuration Control Boards (CCBs). Architect Bill of Materials (BOM) management solutions. Ensure the proper maintenance of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) systems. Lead functional configuration audits (FCAs) and physical configuration audits (PCAs). Support ISO, CMMI, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Quality and corporate audits. Ensure sub-contractor compliance to contracts including delivery of SDRLs and TDP elements.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manages status accounting, change control, configuration audit, configuration identification, and data management efforts on a project of moderate size and/or high technical complexity to meet cost, quality, schedule, and performance requirements.
Ensures all project CDM obligations and objectives are met, including identifying and acquiring resources, providing project leadership, and ensuring inter/intragroup cooperation.
Develops innovative solutions to highly complex CDM problems.
Develops CDM policies and standards to ensure CDM optimization. Assists in development of division CDM strategic plans, policies, and procedures.
Supports CDM business planning, including scheduling, budgeting, and workload planning.
Applies a systems approach to CDM work performed, including resolution of conflicts.
Develops, implements and manages CDM project plans, including detailed project definition, resource requirements, schedule, and cost.
Supports CDM aspects of formal proposals including: concept definition, technical specifications, Statement of Work, Work Breakdown Structure, requirements, and associated cost estimating.
Prepares, presents, and defends CDM results, recommendations, and solutions to external customers and senior management.
Represents the company as a primary interface with customers.
Applies data management and security principals to data archiving, access and transfer process, and procedure development.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of relevant discipline(s), industry practices, trends, and applications. Advises management on new developments and programs.
May direct the work of less senior personnel.
Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.
Shares responsibility of self-development with immediate supervisor.
High School Diploma or equivalent plus 14 years relevant experience; or relevant Associate degree plus 10 years relevant experience; or relevant Bachelor's degree (Business, Engineering, Technology, or Computer Science) or equivalent plus 8 years relevant experience.
Military standards knowledge including: MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-31000
Industry standards knowledge including: EIA-649B, ISO 10007, CMMI
Drawing standards knowledge including: ASME standards
DoD contract experience
Cost Account Management experience
Expert knowledge of relevant design engineering standards, manufacturing processes, configuration management, and documentation.
Satisfactory completion of specialized CDM seminars as necessary to maintain proficiency and currency in the discipline.
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Good planning, time management and organization skills.
Sound interpersonal skills used when interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with Company personnel, customers, and suppliers.
Ability to use computers to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
Ability to develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills.
Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers.
Preferred Skills:
NDIA certification
PTC Windchill PDM experience
Oracle ERP experience
Certain positions may require a specific degree and/or concentration or have a preference for an advanced degree in a related area.
Prefer experience with relevant applications in a defense environment.
Certain positions may require specialized technical knowledge.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
