DCS Corp is seeking a dynamic, pro-active, team oriented, energetic, customer focused engineer student to support our U.
S.
Army customer out of our Sterling Heights, MI location.
You will be working with a group of Engineers and Technicians, supporting the execution of our customer's daily operations, demonstrations, and test events.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide engineering support for the building and testing of prototype autonomous vehicles in different stages of development and in different environments.
Implement new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost.
Ensure that quality, quantity, and customer satisfaction are met.
Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers.
Be able to lift 50lbs.
Manage daily expectations and deadlines using rolling action item list, and team sync meetings.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.
S.
Citizenship is required.
Ability to pass background check to gain secret clearance for access to military base.
Enrolled in a 4-year college/university in an effort to obtain a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Microsoft suite.
Ability to plan, track and communicate status, risks and needs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
