Test Engineer with Security Clearance
Summary DAS Services is seeking a dynamic, team oriented, energetic, and customer focused Mechanical Engineer to support our U.
SArmy customer onsite at the Army's Warren, MI locationYou will be working with PM's, Engineers, and Technicians to support GVSC's Product Assurance & Test Organization with a focus in Additive ManufacturingYou will be responsible for facilitating and sustaining AM development for testing, validation, and fielding criteria within the DEVCOM communityResponsibilitieso Provide daily engineering support to GVSC's Advanced Additive Manufacturing group.
o Oversee and manage the AM development and aid in proposal/test plan creation.
o Communicate the AM testing across a wide audience including:
PM's, Stakeholders, Engineers, and non-engineers.
o Assess the AM testing criteria influenced by vehicle system and component level requirementsRequired Qualifications& Experienceo Active Secret Clearanceo Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and two years of experience with Additive Manufacturing.
o Experience working in an engineering test, fabrication, and evaluation environment.
o Strong Interpersonal/Project Management Skills.
o Excellent oral and written communications skillsDesired Skillso Materials/Mechanical Analysis background.
o Understanding of ground vehicle systems down to component level involvement.
o Exposure to MIL STD 810 / ATP 2404About DAS:
