Apply engineering skills in multi-disciplinary research projects for ground combat vehicles, where knowledge and experience in embedded systems development and integration, vehicle sensors, machine learning, autonomous navigation, and other related subjects will be leveraged to support manned systems development and testing for DoD communitiesDirect customer contact and relationship management are extremely important; therefore, candidate should be personable, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicatorEvaluate the implementation and provide suggestions for improvement of System Requirements, System Architecture and Subsystems Design of US Army Ground Vehicle's data transmission and embedded processingDevelopment of new System Requirements, System Architecture and Subsystems Design that will be utilized for implementing embedded software solutions within vehicle electronic componentsThis includes the use and creation of any necessary interface control documents, communication protocols and user interface documentsPosition may require the candidate to lead programs or sub-project and interact with the clients to comprehend and decompose complicated platform requirements into structured and manageable engineering specifications across multiple engineering disciplinesDevelop and/or provide input to plans of execution to include scope, budget, resource needs, material needs and scheduleRequired Skills:

Working knowledge of system engineering on DoD ground combat vehiclesExperience with the ground combat vehiclesExperience working with TACOM, PEO Ground Combat Systems and PEO offices within the Army Materiel CommandUnderstanding of the Army acquisition process.
