Administrative duties include maintaining or updating care plans and, staff scheduling, hiring, training and directing caregiving staff.
Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs, administering medications, direct care duties as needed.
Serves as a role model and provides leadership to the team, while instilling our mission statement and core values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential Duties 1.
Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records.
2.
Perform general office duties, such as answering telephones, taking dictation, or completing insurance forms.
3.
In-service Resident Assistant proper procedure such as distribution of medications, non-sterile medical treatments and infection control.
4.
Oversee staff schedule and revise as necessary to maintain adequate staffing levels 5.
Assists in the development, monitoring, and updating of individualized care plans and attends care conferences.
6.
Assist in development and implementation of plans of corrections for state survey deficiencies.
7.
Assist in Resident Assistant hiring process.
8.
Listen to, responds or reports resident and family needs, concerns, and issues 9.
Identify and assess unit problems, resolving and/or making recommendations for resolving and reporting to the Resident Care Manager and/or Nurses 10.
Conduct rounds frequently to maintain awareness of what is occurring on the units and to ensure that the staff is properly administering prescribed treatments and to evaluate the residents' physical and emotional status 11.
Assist physicians and nurses; any ancillary services; with documentation, procedures, etc.
as needed 12.
Maintain a high level of resident satisfaction 13.
Maintain and updates care notes and charts 14.
Rounds throughout the day 15.
Attend and participate in all appropriate meetings and training opportunities in order to keep informed on current information and skill development.

Follow established policies and procedures including but not limited to:
o The Company's policies and procedures.
o Safety policies and procedures.
o Federal, state and local regulations.

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Required Associate's Degree in medical field preferred

Previous geriatric experience preferred Computer Skills:

Current MI Certified Nursing Certificate Other Requirements:
