About the Role:
Embedded Modeling & Code Generation Lead Engineer will be working on our future products teamJoin a dynamic group of software and controls engineers responsible for the design, development and support of embedded software solutions for the world's premier land-based combat vehicle producerOn-Site Presence:

o 9-80 Work Schedule (This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
)o Onsite Cafeteria, remodeled with new equipment Fitness Center, and Outdoor fitness trackResponsibilities Of The Role Include:
o Develop Model Based Code Generation capabilities (Matlab, State flow, Rhapsody, Cameo, etc.
)o Train and Mentor engineers on modeling techniques and code generation.
o Generate embedded behavior models for Auto-code generation.
o Work closely with Adjacent teams such as Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity and Safety teams.
o Integrate model code generation tool suite into DevSecOps Pipeline.
o Develop, train, and execute Modeling standards.
o Manage individual priorities, deadlines, deliverables.
o Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications / What You Must Have:
o Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering or similar discipline (Embedded Software/modeling Development emphasis).
o 10 years' experience developing embedded software for Real Time Systems.
o 10 years with model-based software code generation.
o Experience any of the following tools for Code Generation:
Matlab/Simulink, State Flow, Rhapsody or Cameo modeling tools.
o Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering concepts.
o Experience with safety critical systems and real time systems.
o Familiar with SYSML.
o Ability to troubleshoot low level software/model issues.
o Capable of developing C and / or C+
code that can be maintained and updated over decades.
o Demonstrated trouble shooting, problem solving, learning capabilities, and multitasking capabilities.
o Excellent written and verbal communication Skillso Demonstrated technical leadership experience.
o Ability to resolve issues that can be unusual and difficult to solveAdditional Skills Desired:
o Experience with SAFe AGILE Framework.
o Experience with DevOps or DevSecOps Pipeline.
o Experience with GIT, DOORs, Jira / Bitbucket / Confluence, gdb, or QT is a plus.
o Experience with CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet.
o Master's Degree in Engineering desiredAdditional Information:
o This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance(Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance).
o Previous experience working in defense industry desired but not required.
o Must be able to work occasional evening and/or weekend overtime as required.
o Able to travel to support offsite loads and testing when neededUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENT:
