Position Summary Under the supervision of the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Coordinator is a subject matter expert providing oversight and support in the planning, coordinating, and administration of purchasing activities.
The Purchasing Coordinator will provide oversight and support in the purchasing of supplies, material, equipment, and services in order to support and enhance the delivery of City services.
This individual will maintain a variety of purchasing related files, lists, and forms and will respond to inquiries and provide guidance and information regarding purchasing activities.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or other related field.
Three (3) years purchasing experience.
Municipality purchasing experience is highly preferred.
