Branch Manager Warehouse Sterling Heights, Michigan Minimum Experience Mid-level
Maintains and supports existing customers for service, by waiting on customers at the counter during busy periods and short handed situations.
Provides new price quotations and product application information as needed by customer.
Provides customer education and training on products and services upon need and within company policy and direction.
Develops, as available, new customers and performs site support calls on old customers as deemed necessary.
Plans and directs all other customer sales and satisfaction programs necessary for the profit requirements of the service center.
This position is responsible for overall service center operations including defined sales and gross margin return.
Manages and directs service center activities to include sales, warehouse and operations staff; customer relations, customer service, showroom, counter, and outside sales; and advertising, marketing, and promotion of products within the store.
Provides direction, training, and supervision to staff including performance evaluation, goal setting and discipline.
Operates office equipment necessary for data-base access to organization information systems.
Responsible for customer sales and service.
Responsible for inventory levels, techniques, and procedures.
Insures the satisfactory and appropriate inventory levels for all products necessary to fulfill company commitments.
Administers the appropriate and timely action on special purchase orders, customer delivery, warehouse stocking, receiving and shipping of inventory in a fashion consistent with the philosophy and policy of loss prevention and in accordance with the maximization of profitability.
Manage activities of service center staff in accordance with company philosophy, policies, and mission.
Maintains building operations, air conditioning, lighting, heating, and plumbing to ensure they are working properly.
Serves customers on the counter and in the showroom as required.
Discusses product quality and features.
Closes sales and prepares associated paperwork.
Responsible for keeping abreast of technology developments in product line.
Responsible for providing training and development opportunities for staff.
Prepares a variety of related reports and summaries and performs special assignments as required.
Qualifications BS Degree in Business or related field preferred Three to five years directly related experience Effective communication Effective Interpersonal and supervisory skills Detailed knowledge of products, suppliers preferred Location Sterling Heights, Michigan Minimum Experience Mid-level Recommended Skills Communication Customer Relationship Management Customer Service Information Systems Leadership Lighting Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
