Position Description As Assistant General Counsel, Corporate and Intellectual Property Matters, you will handle an array of legal matters, including corporate transactions, partnerships and projects.
A key focus of the position will be to support our companys commitment to innovation by protecting and promoting our intellectual property, including through data rights assertions to our government customers and in our agreements with business partners.
The successful candidate will have outstanding contracts, negotiation and communication skills, with sharp attention to detail.

Provide input and oversight on a wide array of legal issues supporting the companys U.

and global operations, with an emphasis on corporate and intellectual property matters Support the companys intellectual property strategy, including protection of data rights Support the companys strategic partnerships (e.

, teaming agreements, joint ventures, other cooperative business arrangements) Work closely with other departments (e.
g.
, Contracts, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Development) In the U.
S.
and Global markets in support of business pursuits and ongoing operations Support general legal needs of the company as a part of the Land Systems Legal team Capability to manage workload independently with minimal supervision Required
Qualifications:
J.
D.
degree from an accredited law school License in good standing to practice law in at least one U.
S.
jurisdiction Minimum 4 years relevant experience Demonstrated ability to recognize and resolve legal issues and manage attendant risk Possess excellent written, oral and communication skills Must have ability to plan, multi-task, organize and control heavy work volume Ability to travel on occasion (up to 10%) Preferred
Qualifications:
